Born in The Bronx, New York, on January 27, 1965, Brasselle grew up surrounded by entertainment history. She is the daughter of actor-author Keefe Brasselle—best known for starring in The Eddie Cantor Story (1953)—and Arlene DeMarco, lead singer of the hit 1950s vocal group The DeMarco Sisters.
After modeling in her late teens, Brasselle caught nationwide attention in 1989 when a Polaroid submission landed her in Playboy‘s 35th Anniversary Edition. That exposure quickly catalyzed her transition into film and television acting.
