A local man in Nice, France, was caught red-handed on video attempting to stage a fake antisemitic attack during a pro-Palestine protest, and the footage is as cringeworthy as it is infuriating. In a desperate bid to frame a group of female demonstrators, the man was filmed intentionally collapsing and claiming he was assaulted, only for the surrounding cameras to reveal he hadn’t been touched.
It’s a textbook example of how quickly misinformation can spiral in high-tension environments, but in this case, the receipts were instant.
This wasn’t just a bizarre public performance; it was a calculated attempt to weaponize a serious issue like antisemitism to silence protesters, proving once again that in the age of the smartphone, the truth usually has a way of catching up with you before you even hit the pavement.
