Klein Makes a Leash for Your Construction Markers

Klein Tools makes a retractable marker holder, model 86700.

It comes with 2 sizes of rubber boots, for compatibility with a range of construction-type permanent markers, including Sharpies, Klein’s own Skribes markers, and others.

The retractable marker leash also works with most flat-type construction pencils.

The housing has a 360° rotating pocket clip, and the retractable cord extends to up to 4 feet.

Seems simple enough.

Price: $8

The Klein marker holder does seem pretty convenient, although I wish there was a carabiner clip option similar to the Ergodyne badge holder.

There’s also the CH Hanson Pencil Pull – thanks cheechi!
